Transfer Care & Pressing Instructions

Thank you for choosing JAI Creations Hosanna! Proper application and care are important for getting the best results from your transfers. Please review the instructions before pressing.

A heat press is recommended for best results. Household irons are not recommended.

DTF Transfer Pressing Instructions

Temperature: 305°F
Pressure: Heavy
Press Time: 15 seconds
Peel: Quick Peel
Final Press: 5–10 seconds

  1. Preheat your heat press to 305°F.
  2. Pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  3. Position your DTF transfer in the desired location.
  4. Press using heavy pressure for 15 seconds.
  5. Remove the transfer backing using a quick peeling motion.
  6. Cover the design with a Teflon or protective cover sheet and press again for 5–10 seconds.

Rhinestone Transfer Pressing Instructions

Temperature: 335–340°F
Pressure: Medium to Firm
Press Time: 10–15 seconds
Peel: Cool Peel

  1. Preheat your heat press to 335–340°F.
  2. Pre-press the garment for 4–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  3. Position the rhinestone transfer in the desired location.
  4. Cover the transfer with a Teflon or protective cover sheet.
  5. Press using medium to firm pressure for 10–15 seconds.
  6. Allow the design to cool before peeling the plastic carrier sheet.
  7. Slowly remove the carrier sheet and check that all rhinestones have adhered to the fabric.
  8. If any rhinestones remain attached to the plastic carrier instead of the garment, place the carrier sheet back down and repress for an additional 5–10 seconds.

Care Instructions

To help extend the life of your finished garment:

  • Wait at least 24 hours before washing.
  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.
  • Machine wash in cold water.
  • Use a mild detergent and do not use bleach.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for best results.
  • Do not iron directly over the DTF design or rhinestones.
  • Avoid dry cleaning.
